{"product_id":"wax-resist","title":"Wax Resist","description":"\u003cdiv\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003cspan data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eStandard Ceramic Supply's Wax Resist is used to repel glaze and underglaze from undesired areas of clay or ceramic wares.  Wax resist, technically a natural or synthetic wax emulsion with a low solidification temperature such that the product remains liquid at room temperatures for ease of application, is used to repel underglaze for decorative techniques as well as broad coverage to repel glazes.  Any glaze (or underglaze) that is not repelled by the wax resist can then be easily removed with a slightly wet brush or sponge prior to firing.
